Ford Evos Concept
Now they can remake The Professionals; the Ford Capri is back in town and it’s calling itself the Ford Evos Concept. Ford has revealed a the Evos Concept ahead of the Frankfurt motor show, and its swoopy lines and 2+2 Grand Tourer Fastback shape evoke memories of the 1970s Ford Capri. But this is the Capri re-born; a Capri for the 21st century.
It’s a favourite stereotype: a man driving a flashy sports car is more attractive to women – or at least, so he might think. Now a survey by Motors.co.uk suggests that exactly the opposite could be true. While the same research reckons 48% of men subscribe to the stereotyped view, in actual fact women are more likely to find a man driving an eco car more alluring.
Work is accelerating at Europe's project to let clusters of cars drive together in convoy on motorways - with no input from the driver. The so-called Sartre project today issued a new video showing how its work is developing. Ah, that'll be the Europe-wide Sartre road safety project.
